Project 1
Building of school library
Location: Mampong d/a basic school, western region, ghana
Introduction: Construction of a library that will sit about 30 to 40 pupils at a time. This will serve as a physical space where library resources are stored, managed, and made available to users (pupils and teachers). Official receipts from stakeholders will be obtained for items purchased, scanned, and sent via mail or any contact provided by your outfit. In the same way, videos and pictures will be forwarded accordingly from the get-go to the very end of this all-important project. A site has been prepared within the school compound for this project. We need financial assistance for this all-important project and below is the breakdown and total estimated cost for this project as of this day, the 9th of February, 2024.
Expected outcome of the project: Our expectation is that this project will go a long way to help pupils as well as teachers to ensure learning outcomes improve in the school. Again we look forward to seeing both teachers and students being enlightened and empowered through the materials that they read in the library. Likewise, pupils’ performance in English language is very poor and is expected to improve if the library is completed successfully. We also expect that pupils will build more confidence in the future ahead of them as they read from the stories of others who have made it to the top through diligence and consistency in academic excellence.
Project 2
Renovation of the Kindergarten and Early Childhood Development Centre
Location: Kweiman
Introduction: Renovation of the Kindergarten and Early Childhood Development Centre building which has been badly affected by flooding in the neighborhood which always leaves a pool of water around the building. The stagnant water around the building has seeped into the walls of the building and has affected the concrete floors leaving behind visible cracks.
The renovation work includes plastering the walls, fixing the floor concrete, painting, and fixing learning resources. This will make the place an attractive and stimulating place for the early grade learners. The project will be measured and monitored in phases: fixing of the walls, fixing of the concrete floor, replacing the window nets, fixing of doors, painting, and fixing of teacher-learner resources.
Expected outcome of the project: The Kindergarten and Early Childhood Development Centre will be refurbished to suit a proper place of learning for the early-grade learners in the school and the community
